The hotels in Las Vegas Nevada are the best in the world. They’re attractions in themselves. There’s something to suit everyone’s budget whether you’re looking for the best, the cheapest or something in between. This is partly what makes it such an appealing place and what originally led us to Vegas for our honeymoon.
If you’ve never been to Las Vegas you’re most likely used to staying in hotels which consist of bedrooms, a couple of restaurants, a pool or two and maybe a few other facilities such a spa.
In which case you’re probably wondering, what’s so special about that? How can hotels be attractions in their own right? But believe me, in Sin City where anything’s possible, they can and they are. And the hotel rooms in Nevada’s largest city are pretty spectacular too.
Total entertainment centres
The hotels in Las Vegas Nevada are completely different from anywhere else you’ve ever been. They’re complete entertainment centres.
In fact if you’re staying in one of the Strip hotels such as the Luxor or Caesars Palace for a short break you’ll have everything you need to keep you busy for days and right in your hotel. You won’t need to venture anywhere else, unless you want to. And that’s the way it is in Vegas.

For example the Caesars Palace entertainment is quite outstanding and as such it’s one of our favourite venues. Caesars is one of the more established hotels in Las Vegas Nevada opening in 1966 and it’s continued to grow ever since.
It currently boasts an impressive 3,000 plus rooms and five towers but the Caesars Palace entertainment is the best thing about staying here – you have world class entertainment right outside your room in the Colosseum which has played host to a number of international stars such as Celine Dion, Bette Midler and Cher.

Apart from what you’ll find in the main hotel you’ll also have easy access to around 160 shops and 13 restaurants within the Caesars Palace Forum Shops. Not to mention an oasis of swimming pools, a fabulous spa, bars, the PURE nightclub and a gallery.
Different attractions at different hotels
The various strip hotels have different specialities: the Wynn has the Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati showroom; at the Mirage you can find Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat; the New York New York hotel has its own rollercoaster; the Venetian features the grand canal where you can take a gondola ride; outside the Bellagio you can watch the iconic fountain show and the list goes on…
